This was taken while exploring downtown Louisville. I was in town to explore my genealogy in Kentucky, which dates back nearly 200 years. I stayed in Louisville for a few days and found this building downtown which was being demolished but had this strange art in front which was a striking contrast.

I am drawn to the unfamiliar and the unknown, constantly exploring and absorbing my surroundings with wonder and curiosity. In my work, I strive to capture this feeling and the way in which I view the world. In the process, I hope it may inspire others to appreciate and experience their surroundings in a new way. This world is a fascinating and magical place, one that deserves our attention.
